Chinese for Youth 1 Students app for iPhone and iPad

The Far East Chinese for Youth App (for Students) is designed for students as a useful Chinese learning material. It is the digital version of the Far East Chinese for Youth series, a basic Mandarin Chinese language program for young people. The main aim of this series is to enable students to attain basic language skills for communication in the interpretive, interpersonal, and presentational modes, as specified in the National Standards for Foreign Language Learning. The language materials are presented in cultural contexts that introduce special features of Chinese lifestyles, values, and beliefs.

The Far East Chinese for Youth App (for Students) enables students to keep track of their progress. Learning Tasks and homework sheets provide them with further opportunities to practice speaking, listening and writing Chinese. Homework assignments can be handed in by means of the App, and students can review their work while receiving the teacher’s feedback.
